The SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank suddenly in Lake Superior on November 10, 1975. The Minnesota Historical Society recently acquired five prints and color slides of the freighter Edmund Fitzgerald shortly before it sank.

The committee considers fishery issues of common concern, develops joint programs and research projects and serves as a forum for management agencies.
Michigan Sea Grant

Minnesota Lake Superior Beach Monitoring Program
Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
Minnesota's beach monitoring program collects samples from 37 Lake Superior beaches and analyzes them for water-borne diseases and human health risks. During beach season, this site offers daily and historical beach status information, including weather, photos and maps.
Minnesota Sea Grant
Provides the people, tools and technology to help maintain and enhance coastal and aquatic economies and resources, focusing primarily on problems facing Lake Superior and Minnesota's inland waters.
University of Wisconsin Sea Grant
